The Beginning of your Algarve Wedding

Having been a wedding photographer for the past 12 years, I’ve enjoyed many weddings in the UK. However, I knew it would never be for me!

I waited a long time to meet Mr Right. So I had a long time to dream about the kind of wedding I’d hopefully have.

My family have been living between the Algarve and the UK for the past 14 years. After many amazing holidays and having decided that it is my favourite place in the world, this was where I wanted to get married.

After lots of dinners and even more bottles of wine our plan began!

Using our extensive knowledge of the region we located a host of possible locations, ranging from beautiful beaches with restaurants carved into the cliffs, picturesque golf clubs at the foot of the monchique mountains to romantic five star hotels. Finally, I found my perfect location… An enchanting, recently restored Portuguese farm with beautiful old balustrades and carved stone embellishments above the doors and windows. I fell in love at first site. The more I looked around, the more beautiful and perfect it became. We stayed the night and had an amazing BBQ dinner of organic food grown on the farm. This was definitely my dream venue.
