The Stag - in the Algarve

Bravely or stupidly. This was the night before - we had a 3 o’clock wedding so there was plenty of time to sober up!

The boys who wanted to started the day by playing golf on a luxury golf course at the base of the monchique mountains. They were back in time for Sundowners at the pool before 30 of them took a boat taxi across the estuary whilst sipping white port. The destination was a traditional Portuguese fish restaurant where your choice of fish is BBQ’d in front of you on the Quayside. The evening was finished off by those who dared venturing to the more lively bars and nightclubs of the nearby resort.

An all-inclusive price for the food, wine & beer was arranged with the restaurant prior to the evening at fraction of the cost of anywhere in the UK. There are also plenty of other things you can do during the day from trying your luck with the local tuna on a deep sea fishing trip to the more sedate surroundings of the local vineyards.
